With every blessing there is a lesson, and this event had our team thinking and feeling very hard about why we should cherish all the little things we have in our lives!

Our team had a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes doing hair and makeup for special hosts and children with disabilities at the Easter Seals Charity Event.

Easter Seals is a foundation that provides funds, services and education for families who do not make enough income to provide for their children who are suffering from disabilities like cerebral palsy. Donations collected are used to help purchase wheelchairs, walkers, specialized beds or cars and their much needed medication. The foundation hosted their annual telethon event on April 10, 2016 at the CBC Building in Toronto, where T.V Hosts, Canadian Singers and Large Corporations came to donate their time to bring awareness across Canada.

Toronto Fashion Week

One of the most anticipated fashion events in the nation is Toronto Fashion Week. It displays the many talents of our very own Canadian fashion designers and puts them on a forefront of the fashion arena. This event hosts many celebrities, bloggers, and other fashion icons, and our Body Pro students get an exclusive privilege of being behind the scenes of it all!

In our Hairstyling course, our students get to enjoy the many off site trips, seminars, and trade shows that provide knowledge and experience but nothing like Toronto Fashion Week! Our girls get to work hand in hand with Redken’s elite stylists, and learn what it takes to be “Redken Ready”!

Miss India-Canada

The Miss India-Canada pageant is one of the most anticipated and well-known events within the South Asian community. With over 25 years of innovation and inspiration, the Miss India-Canada organization has continued to transform the annual Gala into a unique evening of glamour and style. This glamorous event is presented by Chevrolet and televised nationwide through ATN, where the viewers get to see the diverse talents with their Indo-Canadian community.
